Responsible for acquiring and maintaining new business opportunities by selling complete Video Communications solutions to Enterprise accounts in a defined geographic territory. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and close new strategic accounts
  • Develop and pursue an overall account plan to maximize opportunities and leverage our integrated solutions offering within key accounts
  • Effectively communicate and present to all executive levels of an organization my client's complete value proposition
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making process, and overcome objections to capture new business opportunities

Videoconferencing & A/V Field Service Technicians Read More

The position(s) require significant travel throughout the US.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration, integration and test of videoconferencing, audiovisual equipment (videoconferencing, multimedia, audiovisual, projection systems, displays, cameras, microphones, integrated A/V systems, document cameras, streaming technologies, etc.) and collaboration technologies
  • Integration and configuration of videoconferencing and A/V equipment with Crestron and AMX control systems
  • Conduct onsite user and administrative training to customers on the operation of installed equipment, software and networks
  • Integration, test, configuration and trouble-shooting of IP and ISDN networks in support of videoconferencing and A/V equipment
  • Provide support to my client's Helpdesk by trouble-shooting videoconferencing and A/V equipment and network issues through to resolution
  • Conduct customer site surveys and provide sales engineering support
  • Prepare detailed installation, trouble-ticket reports and maintenance of customer service profiles

Requirements/Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of related experience in support and trouble-shooting of videoconferencing and A/V technologies and networks
  • BA or BS degree desired and/or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of Polycom, Tandberg, LifeSize and legacy videoconferencing systems required
  • Demonstrated experience installing and configuring Polycom, Tandberg, Radvision and Codian MCUs, gateways, gatekeepers, and infrastructure hardware and software
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the installation, configuration and trouble-shooting of Crestron and AMX control systems
  • Certified Video Engineer (CVE) preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of H.323, H.320 and SIP networks
  • Working knowledge of videoconferencing standards
  • VoIP and networking experience a plus
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
  • CAD and Visio skills a plus

We are looking to add a highly motivated, qualified Sales Engineer to support our talented, energetic, nationwide Sales team. To support and help drive revenue opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the national sales teams and prospective corporate customers to develop and price product solutions designed to meet customer application requirements. This individual will own the technical relationship during the sales process and will work closely with the sales team to identify applications, select the appropriate solution for the application and assist Sales where necessary in presenting the solution. The Sales Engineer will develop scope of work documentation to assist in transfer of information to the post sales Operations team for fulfillment. The Sales Engineer will also be responsible for developing and delivering product training to the Sales team.

Requirements/Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have experience with video and data conferencing, A/V integration, ISDN, IP and internet products, and possess strong communications skills, the ability to learn new technology quickly, the ability to handle multiple projects and the determination to provide quick response in support of the team. The Sales Engineer will often be the focus during product demonstrations and presentations, and must possess the ability to build interest, rapport, confidence and credibility in the solutions being presented. The candidate must be motivated and successful in building relationships with clients and vendors, and possess a strong customer service attitude. Standard MS Office tools (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio) and PC fluency required.

Education

College degree preferred. Experience in the field of A/V integration. Familiarity with TCP/IP, Internet and technical networking concepts desired.
